Jack E. Robinson III
1960 – 2017
Originally from Roxbury, Massachusetts, Jack attended high school at Northfield Mount Hermon and was a college undergraduate at Brown University. He later received both a J.D. and MBA from Harvard University. He initially worked in the airline industry first at Pan Am and then for Continental Airlines and finally Eastern Airlines and wrote two books about his experiences. Jack moved to the emerging wireless industry as a start-up and pursued FCC licenses through the “C-block” Federal auction founding Oceanic Digital Communications in the process. Beginning in 1995 he joined Benistar Admin Services Inc., first as a legal advisor and then as it’s full-time General Counsel where he retired from in 2013 to pursue other entrepreneurial efforts but where he would remain as a legal advisor and outside counsel until his untimely death in 2017.
Jack belonged to the several organizations which drew his interest including the Harvard Club, the International Churchill Society), the Museum of Black WW II History), and The Blue-N*-Gold of the US Naval Academy. An avid golfer he was a member of TwinEagles Golf Club in Naples Florida near his home.
